Quality Policy/ Process

At Jay Ambe Engineering Co., we engage in the bulk manufacturing of pumps and related products in standard and customized specifications. Executives and engineers appointed at the company for product manufacture are all experienced and are from diverse fields like design, production, planning, and quality assurance. However, close quality control checks are still performed on each pump they build as per the set standards of the industry. These checks are done by a crew of experienced quality analyzers who also keep a hawk eyed vigil on the complete manufacturing procedure. As a part of our quality control programme, they also routinely check raw materials and semi finished products in addition to minutely checking all the final products before delivery.

Stage-wise inspection works carried out by our quality control team is briefed under:

Drawings of various products are checked and rechecked before being approved by partners. Checks are done on the basis of specifications of standards, specifications of materials, and also on the interchangeability of components.
Products are made referring to drawings and then evaluated in all respects, including contraction required for the material, machining margin desired according to material, etc. Thickness and counter are also done as per the related standards only.
Castings made at our own foundry are verified for quality by our quality control engineers. The test bar is evaluated for physical properties at our own lab. Chips from the same test bar are also sent to other laboratories where the chemical composition of the metal is evaluated in accordance with prescribed standards. Once castings are approved, we lift the duly marked heat nos. with co-related test certificate.
Besides, as a pivotal part of our quality control standards, visual inspection is done on all components throughout the machining stages and also before the final assembly. Hydro testing and pneumatic testing are also done under expert supervision as per the required standard of valves. Final finishing parting & painting jobs are also executed as per our approved standards only.
